Weddings

Hello! I am a rabbi who officiates joyful Jewish and interfaith weddings that honor tradition while embracing your vision.

I’m based near Princeton and serve New Jersey, New York, Philadelphia, and the Northeast region.

“Will the Rabbi Really Get to Know Us?”

I would love to hear your story and explore how we can make your wedding day meaningful together. No pressure, just a conversation about what matters most to you. Let’s talk!

Your wedding day is a truly special celebration, but what’s even more important is the beautiful marriage that follows. When we work together, we’ll go beyond planning the ceremony, taking time in a few sessions to create a meaningful foundation for both your wedding and your life together. These pre-wedding conversations will help you uncover the topics that often get buried in the hustle of planning, so you can walk into this moment feeling connected, supported, and excited!

Collaborating to Craft Your Wedding Ceremony

When we team up to design your wedding ceremony, I’ll share a range of Jewish traditions with you, helping you make choices that feel right for the day. If wedding planning is starting to feel like a lot, don’t worry; I’m here to help keep things easy and fun, making sure everything runs smoothly so you can just enjoy this special moment together.

My aim is for both partners to know that the ceremony is equally yours and I am an officiant for each of you: no matter who is Jewish or who sends the first email!

My services also include officiating an intimate, personalized ketubah signing, typically done prior to the ceremony.

If you’re looking for a rabbi and officiant to help create a wedding ceremony that feels true to you, I’d be honored to connect. Let’s chat!

Rabbi Kaufman did an incredible job officiating our wedding. She radiates joy and puts everyone at ease. So many of our friends and relatives told us how beautiful her words were, and we completely agreed. Leading up to the wedding, Rabbi Kaufman’s sessions with us provided a grounding opportunity to reflect on our relationship, and we are thankful for her gracious guidance.

Thank you so so much for officiating our wedding ceremony! It was so wonderful, beautiful, special, personal, meaningful, and moving. You really got to know us so well, and incorporated our love story in a beautiful way. Our guests thought you’d known us for years! Everyone said the ceremony was so lovely. And I like how you added in some humor too. I am so happy we chose you to be our rabbi!

Rabbi Kaufman was everything we could have asked for in an officiant. She got to know us as a couple and as individuals. She really understood what was important to us, which shined through in the wedding ceremony. It was personal, it was heartfelt, and it struck the right tone that we were looking for. My wife and I still, even after a year, are beaming when we think about our wedding and the ceremony and the wonderful experience we had with Rabbi Kaufman.
