Saturday, May 31, 10am - 12pm

We’ll gather with bagels and snacks, sing some Shabbat songs, and meet new friends: all while building Shabbat-themed creations (like candles, challah, or kiddush cups!) using Magna-Tiles. This gathering is designed for families with children 0–5 years old, though older siblings are welcome!

FAQ

Who are you and what’s this event?

I’m Rabbi Rebecca Kaufman. I serve as a rabbi at Congregation Beth Chaim near Princeton, and I also love creating Jewish experiences outside the synagogue setting. I’m organizing this event to celebrate Shabbat with friends in JC and other local families.

This event is not affiliated with a synagogue, though I am happy to point to you wonderful synagogues in the area!

Why aren’t you sharing the exact location?

These days, events within the Jewish community need to have an eye towards safety. Once you sign up, I’ll send the address directly.
